What I write will be crazy, funny, heartfelt, and full of the thoughts of my life. I hope you will laugh, cry, groan, and just have a great time reading the ramblings of a crazy woman!!

To a brand new beginning!!
November 4, 1978 Edwin Eugene Dulaney and Bessie Robinson said "I do" to each other in Bucyrus, Ohio. They did not marry for love but out of necessity. Ed's wife had died tragically six months before leaving him with five small children to raise on his own. His health was not in very good shape and he needed someone to help him with his children. Bessie was a single mom with two children and no money to raise them. Thus, began a saga that will forever be etched in the memory of each of their children.
The years went by with a lot of tears, toil and hurt feelings. Somehow through it all, Ed and Bessie managed to stay together. I believe they learned to love each other even though the odds were against them in a mighty way.
Then five years ago, Ed decided that he didn't want to be married anymore. The love of God had gone out of his heart and along with it the desire for his wife. Their divorce was final the winter of 2004 leaving Bessie with no home or income and Ed with an empty void in his life.
A move to Hobe Sound Florida was in the plans for Bessie. The change was good for her. The warmer weather and more job opportunities was just what she needed. Not too long after her move to FL, Ed decided that he needed to move there as well. Through the help of his children, Ed was able to get the counseling that he needed for his life and eventually found Christ as his Savior. God did a miraculous work in His life and changed him completely.
Over the next year or so Ed and Bessie began to rebuild their relationship. They spent some time together going to dinner, church, etc. Some of his children opposed this new relationship, and so did some of hers. Ed and Bessie did not let that waver them from finding out their feelings for each other. They soon began to bask in the love of each other and on January 31st, 2009 they said "I do" all over again. This time they were bound in Holy Matrimony with love in their hearts for each other and God.
Some of their children opposed this reunion and others felt that it was ok. They all had their reserves but felt that Ed and Bessie needed to do what they felt was right.
So begins a new saga for this family. This one I know will not have the same obstacles that it had before. Their will be new mountains to climb such a failing health and adult children who will have their opinions to pass. But God will be right there with them through it all.
Congratulations Mom and Dad. Here's to a wonderful life together for as long as you both shall live. I think you look great!!

Congrats to your Mom & Dad!
I guess I don't have you on my FB, I thought I did and I don't have your email. We are planning on going to the park on Monday, probably around 11:45 or so. I am planning on packing a lunch from home for the girls and then they can play for a couple of hours. If you and the girls can join us that would be great!
Awwww...I'm so happy for them. Our best wishes.
